Carol Cox has been a Course Director in the Digital Marketing Bachelor’s degree program at Full Sail University for over 15 years.

Because of her background as a software developer and technology strategist, as soon as ChatGPT launched in late 2022, Carol integrated generative AI into the curricula of the business and marketing classes she teaches.

Carol has spoken at national conferences on AI, including MAICON (Marketing AI Institute) and Teaching and Learning with AI, and has appeared on podcasts and panels to talk about AI. She's been an on-camera talent for Full Sail’s DC3 courses on marketing and generative AI.

Carol is also the founder of Speaking Your Brand®, which provides mission-driven entrepreneurs and organizations with coaching and training on communications and public speaking, and she is the host of the Speaking Your Brand® podcast.

Earlier in her career, Carol founded and ran two technology business, whose clients included Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, and small businesses.

Carol graduated with a Master’s degree from Emory University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida.

Carol has co-facilitated Full Sail's Women’s Leadership Initiative and served on the advisory boards of weVenture, New Leaders Council, and ATHENA’s Women in Community and Public Service.

Carol was named as one of Orlando’s Women of the Year in 2021 and has been featured in Forbes.
